Abstract. The analysis of geo‑ecological conditions of landscapes of mudflow basins are given in the article. The modern landscape structure of similar basins, the altitude‑spatial distribution of landscape zones, the types of anthropogenic load are analyzed using the example of the basins of the most mudflow rivers – Kishchay‑Shinchay, Kurmukhchay‑Mukhakhchay. The analysis was carried out based on interpretation of the satellite images “Landsat ETM‑8”, with an ascertain data on topographic maps and field research materials.
It was determined the manifestation of mudflow phenomena in the territory increased noticeably. The majority of accumulative and floodplain terraces, as well as debris cones, have been fundamentally anthropogenically transformed. In these areas, natural landscapes are replaced by residential areas and different types of agrolandscapes.
Key words: mudflow basins, mudflow landscapes, intralandscape differentiation, landscape areas, anthropogenic influence.
